Being a multi-instrumentalist Benjamin started having piano lessons at age 6, later picking up the accordion, electric guitar, bass and drums as well. Benjamin played and toured with several local bands and orchestras in Germany, Poland, Italy and Croatia.

Benjamin is a graduate of both University of Hamburg with a master of science degree in physics and Los Angeles College of Music (LACM) with an AA degree in music production. Being always passionate about music and nerdy with sound and audio gear the field of music production and audio engineering is the perfect combination of art and science.

Being taught by industry professionals Andre Knecht (Warner Bros.), Mark Browne (Melissa Etheridge, Dixie Chicks) and Andrew “Mudrock” Murdock (Godsmack, Alice Cooper, Avenged Sevenfold), Benjamin started producing, recording and mixing numerous albums, EPs and Singles with international bands and artists as well as performing and recording as a studio keyboardist.

After graduation Benjamin joined the faculty of LACM and taught Pro Tools classes, maintained LACM’s extensive computer facilities, engineered for one of LACM’s recording studios and assisted film composer Martin Davich (ER, Trinity, Beverly Hills 90210).

After five years in Los Angeles Benjamin moved back to Germany focusing on writing production music. Benjamin is also the founder of borth audio, a company creating sample-based instruments for Native Instruments’ Kontakt.
